Yeah i don't quite get how you can be a Satanist if you don't believe Satan exists.

Welcome refuel. If God Reilly protected the congregation then there wouldn't be paedophiles or wife beaters either, its a paedophiles and abusers paradise. The whole religion is a cult and run by 8 power hungry men and is damaging people's lives

I would just give him time and feed him little tidbits of information about "The truth".

Blood Card Issue
by pometerre21 ini posted this on r/exjw, but i thought i might post it here as well.
so the elders in our kh are moving to get us to sign new simplified blood cards and keep them on file.
i really need to not rock the boat in my current pimo status because of circumstances.. my cousin knows i have doubts about the blood thing, but i can’t show her that my doubts are getting to me.

The elders never even read my blood card anyway when i was pimi they just signed it. They never asked me for a copy either apart from when I was pregnant. You could fill a couple of parts in and then after they sign it just add on the document that you accept all blood components. Just keep forgetting to give them a copy if they ask.
Or just keep shrugging them off with excuses til they give up asking and don't fill anything in.

Is he interested?

Hi sunnybear if you are gong to meet with his mum to discuss the book then I'd recommend looking at jwfacts as well ance seriously do your research on this cult and watch videos on YouTube from exjws so you get a balanced view. It sounds as though he is a narcissist in that he's bribing you and giving you a hope for the future (on his terms) in that it "might" go somewhere but only if you become a jw. I bet if you told his mum you were in a sexual relationship with him that things would be very different.
There are lots of genuinely nice men out there and there will be someone that's right for you, this man seriously doesn't sound like the right one. If you want a relationship where you can have discussions about your beliefs you could always try the Christian connections dating website maybe to find someone with similar beliefs.
You really don't want to be married in a religion where women are treated as 2nd class citizens and where you can't be yourself. I know this from experience as do quite a few others on here.
I wish you well

Please explain!
by Freedom rocks inhi please can someone explain this in laymans terms for me coz i be ever got it as a jw and still don't.
it doesn't make sense to me.
bible chronology indicates that god’s kingdom was established in heaven in 1914. this is shown by a prophecy recorded in chapter 4 of the bible book of daniel.. overview of the prophecy.

Im Writing An Ex-JW Self Help Book
by pale.emperor inwe all know waking up from the cult and trying to leave is a very scary and life changing experience.
for many it's traumatic and few find the transition easy.
we have to deal with families cutting us off entirely or keeping us at arms length at best, lies being told about us by the organization, ex members gossiping about us and finding ourselves in a world very different from what we're prepared for.. for this reason, i've decided to start writing a self-help book informing jws of what to expect when they leave the org.

Great idea. After I left someone I've known and been friends with for years and years said "we have nothing in common any more". So because I'm no longer a jw all the other things we had in common don't count coz our religious views differ. Look forward to reading your book
